Some of the decision made in the story The Michelle I Know. She chose to wear the wig she had. And she chose to break up with her boyfriend Rob. But Rob wouldn’t let her dump him he said no and chose to stay with her. Michelle also chose to go meet her admirer. Claude who was playing guitar end told her it sucks being here so make the best of it and be strong. Michelle also made the decision to turn the T.V. on then quickly turn it off. Michelle also chose to think that her boyfriend wasn’t coming. Instead of hoping that he would show up.
If I was Michelle I would not have wore the wig. Unless it looked really really good on me. I also probably would have liked to meet my admirer. and instead of turning the T.V. off right away I would have watched it for a bit to keep my mind off of Rob. I also would have tried to convince myself that Rob would show up. I also probably would have not even tried to break up with Rob because he really does like you or otherwise he wouldn’t be there. I also probably would have looked at the bright side of getting to go home for 6 months.
Quests And Adventures January 20, 2010

Questenture
Four main themes of novels we have been studying in E.L.A. are quest, adventure, leadership and courage these appear in pretty much every book. I don’t know the reason for these themes appearing in the books but they do. I mean they kind of have to be there cause nobody wants to read a book without any adventure because it would be boring. Because when you add those 4 things to a book you interest the reader and keep them intrigued. By adding problems and solutions to the novel you grab the reader’s attention and keep them reading the book like when you add the theme of leadership you usually have some one that takes charge of the problem and solves it. But with an adventure theme you read about someone on a quest or a mission to complete a task they were sent on.
During D.E.A.R (drop everything and read) I have been reading The Boys from Brazil. This book is about a man with high powers and he hires other men to go out and kill 65 year old men around the world. He then pays them in diamonds worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. But while the men are completing their mission he is busy finding new employees and killing people to protect the secrecy of his top secret mission he has sent his hired men on. To find out what happens in the end of the book you are going to have to go to your local library and borrow the book.

Because sometimes as humans we think we are smarter then we actually are. So we keep evolving and soon the technology we created well get to advance for us. This is why some people write science fiction books to warn us of what will happen if we start evolving to fast. And if our technology gets too great for us.
2— A book that fits perfectly into the genre would be one I recently read in class The Chrysalids. It is about a futuristic society that lives like it is the 1800’s it fits in this genre because they live like it is the 1800’s because they think the old people (our generation) Got to advanced for themselves they were wrecking the world god had created. So god wiped most of the world out with a nuclear bomb they thought so they had to start over and now they were living like it was the 1800’s all over again. This fits right in with the genre because the author is trying to warn us that technology is a good thing but if it is not used in the right ways it can seriously hurt the world in many ways.

Fantasy-1- In fantasy stories and books you are usually find yourself pondering on what is going to happen next in the story. Because you never know what is coming up or what could happen. The reason for this is because you can write whatever you want it is all made up. It takes a person with a big imagination to read fantasy stories. Fantasy is a little different from fiction in the way that fiction has realistic characters and ideas. While fantasy goes beyond the box and deals with the impossible and gives you an idea of what it would be like if the impossible happened to you.
2– Harry Potter is one of the biggest fantasy books and movies around. The writer J.K. Rowling has made millions off of her movies and books. Harry Potter is one of the biggest fantasy characters and is well known around the world. Some of the many fantasy aspects in harry potter is most of the characters in the books are wizards and witches which is impossible. Also another fantasy character is a boguard in the book it changes shapes in to whatever you imagine.

–1– I think people keep making books about the unexplained because it attracts readers because nobody really knows what the unexplained are or what they look like. So people keep going to see movies and read books about ghost and aliens. Because they get to see other people’s imaginations in a movie or on paper. And they also get to see their idea of the unexplained. And then they see what other people think about the unexplained. Some examples of the unexplained are ghost or big foot know body knows if they are real but people believe in them because it gives them the power to create their image of something like bigfoot.
2– I think aliens are one of the most unexplained phenomena’s in the world because nobody really knows what they really are. Let alone even if they exist so something like that really is unexplained because. People say they have been abducted by aliens and stuff like that but there is no real proof. So I think they aren’t really but it is up to you to believe in it or not.

Mystery and suspense is different from any other writing. Throughout a mystery story the writer unravels a mystery and as he does that he brings new characters into the story. He keeps you on the edge of your seat because he is always putting twist and suspense into the book. Mystery stories are so different from other stories because you never know what is going to happen next. You just keep thinking what if this happened or that happened. You just never want to put the books down because they are so intriguing.
Sherlock Holmes is a popular mystery story character.
One of the stories I read was the Death Trap. It fits right in with the mystery and suspense genre because throughout the story Armando the Great (main character in the story) was always getting himself out of the traps that only amazing escape artist could ever escape. And while reading the story you never knew if he was going to escape or die trying this kept you always thinking and made it so you didn’t ever want to put the story down. But somehow he always escaped the traps he was put into. No matter how hard they were. Know body ever knew how he escaped all those traps it is still a mystery even today.
